ManTech International Corporation Nasdaq: MANT announced that it recently received certification as a “non-conflicted” services provider from the National Reconnaissance Office NRO, the nation’s premier agency for the design, acquisition and operation of reconnaissance satellites. The NRO designs, builds and operates the nation’s reconnaissance satellites. NRO products, provided to an expanding list of customers such as the CIA and DoD, can warn of potential trouble spots around the world, help plan military operations, and monitor the environment.
The NRO, in seeking to ensure the integrity of their acquisition process, has implemented a unique program to negotiate Organizational Conflict of Interest OCI agreements with companies that are then certified as “non-conflicted” support service providers. ManTech recently completed all requirements under this program and is committed to maintaining eligibility to compete for and perform support services requiring non-conflicted status. ManTech is one of only a handful of companies known to have sought and achieved this certification in the government contracting community.
