Moley Brothers Q-Pit Celebrates Restaurant Opening in Leesburg

Picture 2At 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, Town of Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon cutting for Moley Brothers Q-Pit, located at 9-E Catoctin Circle SW.

Moley Brothers Q-Pit is a family-owned and operated restaurant whose goal is to serve the best barbeque in Virginia. Born out of the urging from family and friends, all of the recipes on the menu are made from scratch.

Owner Robin Walker stated, “The economy and unemployment made us do this! The restaurant is owned by sisters, brothers, husbands, wives, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews who have come together to use our talents to overcome unemployment.”

When asked where the name “Moley Brothers” came from, Walker replies, “It has been a running joke in our family, signifying one’s ability to be tragic . . . a Moley . . . and when it gets REALLY bad, it becomes HOLY MOLEY!”

Moley Brothers Q-Pit will be running a number of lunch and dinner specials from September 9 through September 16 in honor of their grand opening. Customers who visit during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins game on September 12 are encouraged to wear their team’s colors and participate in the “Beef Ribs” (Cowboys) versus “Pork Ribs” (Redskins) challenge. Other specials will be offered based on the score of the game.
